Payroll Technician l

Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Payroll Supervisor and the Lead Payroll Technician, the Payroll Technician I is responsible for the processing and timely delivery of the bi-weekly payroll while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, Federal and State regulations.

Position Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual much be able to perform each essential duty to satisfactorily. Requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

• High School diploma or GED
• Preferred 1-year experience in accounting/payroll applications. Computer experience desirable. Customer service skills are required.
• 10 key, Computer skills (Excel, Word, I series Navigator) Phone, alphabetize filing
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to deal with day-to-day payroll issues.
