BH PS Case Manager, Native Connections
Position Summary: Provide case management support, traditional Calricaraq counseling, implementation and coordination of Yup’ik elders healing circles that provides traditional therapeutic intervention. Case Manager makes appropriate referrals, and/or referred to outpatient services; engage outpatient clients in therapeutic support system to include families and community support system as directed. Collaborates with Village Tribal Council, BH Staff, Schools and other social service agencies and completes required reports related to the project.
Position Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job element satisfactorily. The components listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - High School Diploma or G.E.D and RHS certification preferred or BA in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related field.
- Experience in a cross-cultural setting, preferably with Alaskan Native cultures. Yup’ik speaker preferred.
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License and ability to be insured under corporate policy.
- Computer literacy required
