CHAP Admissions & Data Coordinator
Position Summary: Works with CHAP Director and the CHAP Itinerant APC Coordinator in the coordination of village clinic coverage by CHAP Itinerant PA/NP providers. Maintains data files for all related functions including: Creates and coordinates Itinerant village visit schedules, based on established criteria and CHAP coverage needs; Pulls patient list reports prior to provider visits based on established criteria; maintains communication with TCs, village clinics, and Med-Staff as appropriate to support smooth work-flow among all APC providers visiting village clinics; and manages provider travel requests to villages. Supports candidate site visit schedules, travel, and process management. Coordinates new Itinerant providers training schedules as established for experienced and New Grad providers. Manages all assigned reports, productivity numbers, provider time cards, and other duties as assigned. Supervises CHAP front desk staff and acts as backup when needed.
Position Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. Associate Degree in Health Care related field preferred.

Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency necessary. 2 years progressive supervisory experience. Health care experience preferred.

ADL - Alaska Drivers License.

Computers, Multiline telephone system, Copier, fax machine, shredder, Excel, database management, Microsoft Suite of programs, and all other software programs as required

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision with supervisory skills. Accuracy and dependability a must. Work done in this department directly impacts operations throughout YKHC Villages and the hospital. Interpersonal and communication skill required interacting with medical personnel on a routine basis. Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office, RAVEN, and Kronos. Ability to speak Yup'ik helpful.
